Gerard Romeijnders

This page is to commemorate Gerard Romeijnders whom I known as being a friend to everyone. Many times he gave me a ride delivering beer to the taverns in Holland.  Later he got a truck and he let me drive once in awhile.  When he was taken prisoner by the Germans, along with my Dad (see center in the picture) they became good friends. He later married my cousin Gerda Van Loveren after the second world war. He also was the person that later took us to Rotterdam to meet the boat that brought us to America in 1954.  We will never forget all the good things he has done in his life.  Now he is with all the family members that have gone before us, Ome Gerrit, Tante Catrien, Oma and Opa, my Father, my Mother, to many to mention here.
